Restorative Yoga*Meditation* Reiki*Acupuncture*Live Sound* Gong Bath

Join Christie Roe, Jarrod Mayer, Melody Balczon, and Marilyn Matthes for an afternoon focused on settling into the major transition into Fall. As we begin to turn inwards, retreating from the outdoor activities of Summer in preparation for the Winter months ahead, we need a sense of being grounded and stable and to maintain some of Summer's heat within.

In Ayurveda Fall is the vata, or air season, think of dry leaves being blown off the trees. In Chinese medicine Fall is related to dryness and grief so acupuncture points will help to balance these influences. The Lung and Large Intestine points are related to the metal, which is the Fall element, and in acupuncture we are intended to resurrect the metal within our mind, body, and spirit to be in harmony with the season. In our retreat we will combine the Ayurvedic and Chinese systems to ease us into the Fall season.

Our retreat will promote full body health and wellness, further aided by deep relaxation. After settling into restorative yoga postures and a brief guided meditation, receive reiki healing and acupuncture, while you are bathed in the cosmic sound of the gong.

*Acupuncture and Reiki are included but are both optional.
