Come, gather, together to receive acupuncture and live sound as we welcome the seasonal shift and the shifts of our society to the urgency of awareness needed to create the world we want to live in. The workshop will start with a brief explanation of what to expect from acupuncture, and the meaning of the points that will be chosen for all who attend. Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine, over 2,000 years old. With the insertion of very thin and small sterilized stainless steel acupuncture needles into carefully chosen therapeutic points on the body, acupuncture .takes the bodymind out of "fight or flight" mode and puts it into a state of "rest and digest".
The sound current further activates the needle through sound waves, supporting a deeper experience of self and rest.
Please wear loose fitting clothing that can easily roll up to the knees and elbows, and also be sure to have some food in your system no longer then one hour prior to the workshop, to avoid dizziness or lightheadedness.
All are welcome!
